Neutrik introduces new accessories

Neutrik’s new SCDR accessories protect its D-size connector products from various environmental factors.

Neutrik introduced several new accessories at NAB2007, covering a range of improvements across several of the firm’s product lines. Among the new products are a rear protection cover for its D-size lines and an assembly tool for use in building Neutrik XX and PX series connectors.

The SCDR is a soft plastic cover for the rear of several D-size chassis connectors, including XLR, PowerCon, Speakon and OpticalCon, protecting the gap between connector and cable. Benefits include protection from electric shock when using PowerCon; airtight assembly with the XLR; and dust protection on the rear end of OpticalCon.

Because of the popularity of its clear coding rings, Neutrik has introduced the BXX-CR for a more cost-effective approach and faster assembly. This saves time and money because assemblers no longer have to replace the standard ring before assembly.

Finally, Neutrik's HTXP hand tool for its XX and PX series is the newest addition to the wide range of assembly tools now offered by the company. The HTXP can either tighten the XX boot or the bushing for the new PX plug series.
