Masque Sound draws GM from in-house talent pool
Masque Sound co-principals Geoff and Jim Shearing have named a new general manager.

Dan Showman will now be the 67-year-old professional sound reinforcement and design firm’s new GM. He joined Masque Sound’s Orlando, FL.-based technical facility as director of operations in 1999 and moved to the firm’s East Rutherford, NJ corporate headquarters in 2000.

Steve McCale joins Digidesign as product specialist for VENUE
Digidesign has named Steve McCale as a product specialist for the Digidesign VENUE live sound product line. Reporting to Ken DeLoria, Digidesign’s worldwide director of live sound sales, McCale is also responsible for developing new products and training materials.

Euphonix names new head of worldwide sales

Euphonix has appointed Russell Waite to the position of executive vice president of worldwide sales.

Waite, who previously held the position of VP of international sales based at the company's London office, will now be based at its headquarters in Palo Alto, CA, reporting to the CEO, Jeffrey Chew. In his new position, Waite will oversee Euphonix's sales teams throughout the world.
