NTP unveils Penta 725 series audio processors

NTP introduced the Penta 725 series of compact digital audio signal processors at IBC2007.

The Penta 725-100, first in the product family, is a standalone router with 64 AES/EBU stereo and dual MADI inputs/outputs.

The Penta 725-100 comes in a compact 1RU chassis and can be controlled locally or remotely. It includes front-panel navigation keys and a compact display for local configuration and system setup. An integrated Web server enables remote TCP/IP-based configuration and control via RJ45 Ethernet.

NTP's Penta 725-100 router conforms to the AES-3 protocol via rear-panel D connectors and to the AES-10 Serial Multichannel Audio Digital Interface (MADI) via optical fiber. Any standard sampling rate from 44.1kHz to 192kHz can be selected and synchronized to an internal generator or to external AES/EBU reference. Dual 85V-250V AC redundant power supplies are incorporated.
