Post-production company Pacific Soundwaves has outfitted its film mix stage in Burbank, CA, with JBL ScreenArray cinema loudspeakers. The stage is part of a new 11,000ft2 facility, an addition to the firm’s existing Santa Monica, CA, facility.

The Dolby-tuned film mix stage utilizes JBL 3632 ScreenArray systems for the mid and high frequency, coupled with JBL 5641 single 15in loudspeakers for the low-frequency sections. The LFE channel is the 18in JBL 4645C subwoofer, and the surrounds consist of six JBL 8340As. The stage has already been used for the mixing of numerous features including “Time Bomb,” which aired on CBS, Disney’s “The Cheetah Girls 2” and the new NBC series “Windfall.”
