Rhozet to showcase latest additions to Carbon transcoder line

At NAB2007, Rhozet will demonstrate new versions of its Carbon transcoder line.

The transcoders offer new features like multimachine rendering for faster performance and new device support for Panasonic P2, Sony XDCAM and Avid MediaStream.

Rhozet will also introduce support for Dolby Digital (AC-3) encoding for use by broadcast professionals dealing with cable, ATSC and DVB.

In addition, the company will unveil technology with the ability to splice streams of video in the compressed domain, greatly accelerating tasks such as ad insertion and program creation.
