Sennheiser to expand German headquarters

A new, larger plant at the firm’s Wedemark headquarters will replace the Sennheiser production plant in Burgdorf, Germany.
Sennheiser has announced a reorganization and expansion of the company's headquarters and main production plant in Wennebostel (Wedemark), Germany. As a first step in the expansion, a new, larger production facility will be build adjacent to the company’s clean room in Wedemark, replacing a plant in Bergdorf, located 30km away.
Sennheiser's headquarters in Wennebostel has grown continuously since the firm’s founding in 1945. Planning for the new building and reorganization has already begun, and the relocation of the Burgdorf site is expected to be completed by the beginning of 2009.
