Shure has combined its international Americas business unit with the U.S. business unit to create the Americas business unit. Sales channels for Shure products will be unaffected; however, the corporate-level sales, marketing and support staffs of the two former entities have been combined

“To drive sustained growth for the company, we decided to align these two business units into one,” said Chris Schyvinck, Shure’s executive VP of global marketing and sales. “This new structure enables us to offer a broader set of resources to support our channel partners throughout the Americas — Canada, Mexico, Central and South America and the Caribbean — while continuing the same high level of service and support to our sales reps and customers in the U.S.”

Mark Humrichouser has been appointed general manager of the Americas business unit. In this capacity, Humrichouser will lead the overall business for North America, South America, Central America and the Caribbean. Previously, he held the same title in the U.S. unit. Other key positions for the Americas business unit include José Rivas, director of sales; Terri Hartman, director of marketing; Althea Ricketts, director of support services; and Chris Salay, director of financial analysis. All have been reassigned from similar positions within the Shure organization.
