Sheik Tarek al Fassi purchases South Beach Studios

Sheik Tarek al Fassi has purchased South Beach Studios, a 14-year-old music recording facility located in the heart of Miami.

The studio facility includes a Solid State Logic 4064 G-plus console and a large Pro Tools suite. Tom Lord-Alge, who has mixed records for Avril Lavigne, Mick Jagger and Peter Gabriel uses the facility.

The studio reportedly sold for $7 million and included the 12-room boutique hotel.
