SSL receives four TEC Award nominations

Solid State Logic (SSL) has been granted four nominations for this year’s TEC Awards, to be held Oct. 7 at the Hilton San Francisco. SSL was recognized for the C300 Master Studio System (large format console technology); E Signature Channel (mic preamplifier technology) featuring new Variable Harmonic Drive circuitry; the XLogic X-Rack (signal processing technology/hardware); and the LMC-1 Listen Mic Compressor Plug-In (signal processing technology/software).

Especially notable is the LMC-1 Compressor Plug-In. Available for the Mac and PC, the LMC-1 Compressor Plug-In can be downloaded for free, and has met an enthusiastic reception from audio professionals and hobbyists alike, with more than 25,000 downloads.

The Mix Foundation for Excellence in Audio presents the annual TEC Awards, held during the Audio Engineering Society (AES) Convention. Nominations are made by a panel of industry professionals and voted upon by subscribers of Mix Magazine, a sister publication of Broadcast Engineering.
