Surround sound, HD audio garner high consumer interest

Premium surround sound systems and HD audio are highly attractive features desired by today's consumers, according to a J.D. Power and Associates survey.

The survey found strong consumer interest in these new audio technologies especially surround sound, which ranks sixth in consumer interest.
