TDK creates new sales division

TDK has established a professional sales division to service the broadcast and commercial recording media markets. TDK offers an extensive line of professional grade products ranging from printable surface DVDs and CDs to network data storage solutions including LTO Ultrium 3 cartridges and Sony's Professional Disc media.

Michael Alesso, fresh from a 13-year stint with Sony Broadcast, is TDK's new national sales manager for the broadcast and professional media division. Alesso specializes in blue laser media products, such as the TDK Professional Disc media for Sony’s XDCAM Professional Disc System.

TDK has also launched a Web site highlighting its professional audio and video products with additional technical and sales information.
