SintecMedia, a software developer for scheduling, sales, traffic, and billing systems, announced that BBC Northern Ireland's radio station has adopted its scheduling and management system.

This is the first phase of the station's Orion Project, which will provide a fully integrated commissioning and scheduling system across its television and Nations radio stations.

The system, which will be introduced across the BBC over the next six months, will facilitate communication across the organization, eliminate duplicate data entry and enable the broadcaster to leverage its assets.

By combining all major operations into an all-in-one product, including sales, traffic, programming and promo management, OnAir facilitates communication across the organization, eliminates duplicate data entry and enables media companies to leverage their assets and airtime.

With OnAir, companies have instant access to cost and revenue data. Its workflow engine enables the broadcaster to design custom workflow processes in order to create a single operational environment across all media channels.
