24 Ghanta, which recently launched as a regional news channel catering primarily to the Bengali market, has chosen the Vizrt real-time 3-D graphics solution as its primary graphics platform.
As part of the Zee Network, 24 Ghanta is the first of the Indian stand-alone regional channels to adopt 3-D broadcast graphics to improve its on-air look and to compete with national channels in the same genre. This will provide the channel’s local viewers with new graphics and up-to-date information. With the help of the various Vizrt solutions, 24 Ghanta will create full-frame 3-D graphics and a branding of the channel.
Designers at 24 Ghanta will use Vizrt’s Viz|Artist software to create real-time graphics. Also Viz|Content Pilot will allow for the centralization, management, control, input and delivery of content.
