Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR) has renewed its service contract for Abit’s Present-it automation system, which is responsible for transmitting programs for the national PHOENIX-Programm from WDR’s facility in Bonn, Germany.

The system helps PHOENIX to control station running costs through the routine automation of day-to-day activities such as the transfer of schedules smoothly and seamlessly in addition to finding and managing video and handling errors before the transmission.
