The Maxxx channel, owned by Philippine broadcaster ABS-CBN, has recently expanded its infrastructure with an Etere TV management system. The system at ABS-CBN comprises 72 workstations controlling 20 channels. For Maxxx, Etere controls an ingest VTR, Evertz logo insertion and an INCA CG, a SeaChange BMC video server and Evertz routing controlled via the Etere Sarvaji software. Fifty-six PCs are linked to the system.
The Etere Scheduling system manages channel-branding events and, combined with the Etere STMan subtitles management module, can enhance music programs with the appropriate titles, logos and crawls by automatically reading video asset metadata.
