AccuWeather releases SelectWarn 3.0 severe weather warning system

Accuweather’s SelectWarn 3.0 gives stations storm arrival times and tracks their location.
The new version of AccuWeather’s severe weather system, SelectWarn 3.0, includes new on-air graphics support and a new window of movement, which will provide stations with storm arrival times and location data, helping them get the data on the air faster.
The SelectWarn system combines meteorological information with graphics presentation. With storm tracking, AccuRain data, graphics toolkits, high-resolution NEXRAD radar, real-time “ground-truth” and local storm reports, as well as exclusive geohazard maps of flooding and earthquakes, SelectWarn delivers data from AccuWeather directly to TV stations worldwide.
