Avitech to launch new HD multiviewers at IBC2008

Avitech’s Rainier-4U HD multiviewer will debut at IBC2008.
Avitech International will unveil multiple new HD multiviewers at IBC 2008, including the Rainier-4U and Rainier-4U1v.
The Rainier-4U multi-image display processor has four auto-detecting HD/SD-SDI/composite video inputs capable of fixed quad-split and full-screen functionality.
The new Rainier-4U1v accepts four auto-detecting video inputs plus one high-resolution DVI/VGA input. Source windows can be sized and positioned freely including the DVI/VGA input (which is also used for cascading modules). Up to four modules can be cascaded to provide a mixed monitoring environment for up to 16 video inputs and one DVI/VGA input.
Avitech is also introducing its Touch-screen Avitech Control Panel (TACP). The TACP shares the same capabilities and look and feel of the existing Avitech Software Control Panel, which provides configuration and control of Avitech's full line of multiviewers.
