The Axon HQW200 quad-split modules can be linked to form a 40-channel multiviewer.
Axon will be showing its new multiviewer at CABSAT 2008. It is built by combining multiple HQW200, Axon’s four-channel 3Gb/s-capable multiviewer (quad split), to build up to a 40-channel multiviewer in the Synapse 4RU frame SFR18 (32 channels in the 2RU SFR08 and 16 in the 1RU SFR04). Because of Synapse’s modular concept, a multiviewer can be combined in the same housing with other Synapse modules. Synapse users also can add a multiviewer to their existing frames.
Also at CABSAT, Axon will show the HLI20 HD/SD logo inserter featuring a preset-based logo recall function through a flexible user interface and a local storage as well as multiple logo choices including animations that can be selected through the synapse menu, a dedicated Ethernet port or by GPI. The logo inserter can be used as bug inserter with the option to alter the main channel bug on the fly and simultaneously add a theme bug that is triggered with predefined fade in/out times.
