RTL outfits new broadcasting center with KSC Commander System

The Cologne Broadcasting Center (CBC), an RTL Germany company, will outfit a new broadcasting center in Cologne-Deutz with the KSC Commander master control system from systems house BFE, in Mainz.
The KSC Commander system will be used in all control rooms, including the master control room as well as in playout. Commissioning of the new broadcasting center is planned for the middle of 2009.
The KSC Commander is a new router control and signal management system that follows the KSC 9000 control system. Third-party broadcast equipment is also integrated in one GUI.
