Chris Lennon wins SMPTE Society Citation for BXF work

Chris Lennon, director of integration and standards for Harris Broadcast, has received the 2008 SMPTE Society Citation Award in recognition of his contributions in the creation of the Broadcast eXchange Format (BXF) standard. The award was presented at the closing night of the recent SMPTE 2008 Annual Tech Conference & Expo.
BXF is the new SMPTE-2021 software standard that was developed to standardize methodologies for communications among traffic, automation, content management and workflow software systems.
