UK sports news channel Sky Sports News is investing in eight Chyron HyperX2 HD/SD switchable graphics platforms with Lyric PRO, and a CAMIO suite of Newsroom Graphics software for integration with Avid iNews for its 18-hour daily sport news channel. This major installation makes Chyron Sky Sports News’ prime supplier for its live studio graphics. The systems will go on air for the beginning of the 2007 football season.

As well as providing the broadest spectrum of studio graphics for this fast paced, live programming network, the HyperX2 will enhance the channel's trademark L-shaped look, which combines results, news stories, statistics, tables and breaking news from a variety of data sources. The network will also use Chyron for the majority of its “Soccer Saturday” programming.
