Chyron has announced a third-party integration project with Signum. The German software provider is integrating its product portfolio with Chyron's CAMIO newsroom asset management solution to streamline the delivery of newsroom graphics.
The Chyron and Signum integration gives journalists who use Chyron's CAMIO interface as part of a newsroom client (for example iNews, Dalet or ENPS) access to an archive of graphics material for inclusion in their rundown. Items selected from the archive are automatically transferred into the CAMIO system and moved to the designated playout device, without further manual intervention. In addition, operators can use tools within the Signum system to modify the graphic image before inserting it into the story.
