ClearStory Systems has announced the newest release of its digital asset management system, ActiveMedia with Workflow Automation. Built on a commercial-grade business process management (BPM) engine, ActiveMedia Workflow is able to automate processes at every point in the digital media supply chain, extending digital media management into a broader enterprise workflow.

ActiveMedia Workflow extends the capability and value of ClearStory’s ActiveMedia DAM solution to manage digital media projects, creative workflow, review and approval, as well as automate system events, asset management functions and e-mail notification. It even extends to users outside the system such as legal teams approving projects, printers who require automatic asset delivery upon completion, Web content management and other enterprise applications.
