Amsterdam-based broadcast facility Digital Media Center has adopted Signiant’s Content Distribution Management software as it moves toward an all-digital workflow. The Signiant solution will be used to manage the delivery of broadcast media to DMC, which provides a full range of broadcast services for channel production, origination and distribution as well as playout and propagation for third-party TV channels.
Signiant’s CDM will fit into the quality-check processes by automating and streamlining content. It will also be used to control internal workflows following delivery and to deliver viewing copies to language houses and subtitle creation agencies. Initially, it will cover three sites, but DMC intends to expand to 10 sites as part of a larger project.
