Enhance Technology’s StorPack series multidisk backplane is teaming up with the RocketRAID 3150, 3520 and 2312 series internal SATA RAID controllers from HighPoint Technologies to offer a solution for dense storage and embedded applications.
The Enhance Technology StorPack series is a high-density multidisk storage backplane that allows multiple 3.5in low-profile SAS/SATA hard disk drives to be mounted into standard 5.25in drive bay, system/server or external disk array enclosures. The RocketRAID 3520 offers two internal mini-SAS connector ports to support up to eight SATA hard drives, while the RocketRAID 3510 offers one internal mini-SAS connector to support up to four SATA hard drives.
The compatibility of HighPoint’s RocketRAID SATA RAID controllers and Enhance Technology’s multidisk storage backplanes will enable clients to put together a fully tested and compatible storage solution for audio recording, video editing, data-intensive computing, on-demand media streaming and RAID implementations for servers and workstations.
