EVS to unveil product evolutions, integrated workflows

The EVS XT[2] production server integrates with Avid and Apple HD codecs.
EVS will unveil new product evolutions and integrated workflows at NAB2008 including native support for the post-production HD codecs Avid DNxHD (SMPTE VC-3 compliant) and Apple ProsRes 422.
Part of the IPDirector content management suite, IPEdit offers on-the-fly editing and will be demonstrated at the show with Media Importer. For Final Cut users, EVS Media Importer improves access to live content from multiple devices and allows the user to import clips and media from the XT[2] directly to the timeline.
Also new is the XL[2], a low-resolution server for media control and review, and XT[2] EditRec, a new VTR replacement solution for linear editing workflows with advanced functions like networking, edit while recording and playout from a linear edit suite.
