Harmonic to acquire Rhozet

In a purchase that closed late last month, Harmonic has acquired Rhozet. The addition of Rhozet's software transcoding technology will enable Harmonic's existing broadcast, cable, satellite and telco clients to seamlessly create and deliver high-quality Internet and mobile video programming.
The purchase is valued at approximately $15.5 million.
