KSPS transitions to HD with SeaChange broadcast platform

PBS station KSPS-TV is using SeaChange MediaLibrary for SD and HD program delivery.
Spokane, WA-based PBS affiliate KSPS-TV is using SeaChange’s broadcast play-to-air platform to deliver its SD and HD programming. In addition to its primary channels, the SeaChange platform supports playout for Washington State University’s KWSU-TV plus several other local cable public access channels out of the KSPS facility.
KSPS is using SeaChange’s MediaLibrary/MediaClient for its play-to-air applications in conjunction with Harris automation. The five-node system delivers 24TB at 10Mb/s, allowing more than 5300 hours of SD material to be housed in online storage.
