MBC Dubai expands with Harris ADC automation

Harris is upgrading its installation at Dubai satellite broadcaster MBC. Under the agreement, Harris has installed its Broadcast Master sales and scheduling system and H-Class ADC playout automation system at MBC. The project at the MBC facility, which includes upgrading Broadcast Master to the latest v8 software, involves a significant expansion of the existing Harris solution.
Broadcast Master v8 offers enhanced features such as auto-schedule of programs, secondary events, commercial spots and interstitials, as well as support for sponsorships, alternate event periods, program and interstitial placeholders, programs-in-programs, virtual programs and HD channels.
