Singapore’s MediaCorp has chosen a full Miranda master control and monitoring solution for its new digital media center. The company has a range of platforms, spanning television, radio, newspapers, magazines, movies and digital media. As one of the region's most established broadcasters, MediaCorp plays a key role in developing Singapore as a broadcasting and media production hub in Asia. Today, MediaCorp has more than 55 products in four languages — English, Mandarin, Malay and Tamil.
MediaCorp recently reviewed its master control and decided that to be more efficient, it required the latest in multiviewer displays and automated monitoring. The broadcaster purchased a Miranda solution combining Miranda’s iControl end-to-end facility monitoring and control system, Monitor Prop hardware and Kaleido-X multiviewer multi-image display technology. The system goes live in July 2008.
