MediaGeniX is implementing its broadcast management and scheduling software at the public broadcaster Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR) in Germany. Besides the installation of the new WHATS’On — with an increased number of modules — some extra custom functionality will be developed. A second is “Special Day Planning,” an extra scheduling tool that serves exclusively to schedule content on public holidays.
Also notable are the more traditional integrations of WHATS'On with different existing systems at BR, such as with SAP, the broadcaster’s playout and media asset management (MAM), and the IT monitoring infrastructure.
