The NV5100MC series offers full-video preview that lets a master control operator look at video sources and effects without worrying that automated transitions will occur on the program or preset bus.

NVISION will unveil its new NV5100MC multichannel master control switching system at NAB2008.

The modularity of the NV5100MC series enables broadcasters to tailor a master control system to fit their facilities’ current needs and budget, and then easily add or upgrade features and functionality as required.

Benefits of the NV5100MC series include increased audio and video processing capability; field programmable processor for either SD or HD; a choice of four control surfaces; and full-video preview.

When added to the system, the full-video preview provides an independent processing channel to preview video sources, keys, logos and squeezeback effects. This independent preview bus gives the master control operator a way to look at video sources and effects without worrying about automated transitions occurring on the program or preset bus.
