Omnibus iTX operators can browse HD content with IPV SpectreView.

OmniBus Systems will include frame-accurate SD resolution browse capability for SD and HD content in its iTX version 1.1. The system's browse capability is based on IPV's SpectreView product suite, accepts file-based HD or SD content and transcodes multiple clips to low-bit rate VC-1 (SMPTE 421M) format at full SD resolution, with frame-accurate time code, scene detection and logo burn-in.

The inclusion of IPV's technology means iTX users will now have the ability to find, check and mark up content from within iTX as they are assembling playlists and packages. The browse functionality offers full VTR-style control and multispeed playback of video and audio.
