SGT automation users can control Orad Maestro from the ActiveX plug-in.

Orad Hi-Tec and SGT have developed an integrated solution that combines Orad’s Maestro on-air graphics system and SGT’s VEDA automation. The solution will provide broadcasters with 3-D real-time graphics for channel branding and automatic promos in a master control room environment.

During the preparation phase, broadcasters will be able to use Orad's ActiveX plug-in inside SGT’s VEDA automation system to browse Maestro's graphics templates, prepare and modify data and preview and validate the items from the automation system's GUI regardless of their source of origin.

During playout, VEDA will control the Maestro system to play the desired graphic frame accurately to air.
