PlayBox Technology has supplied a new playout solution for the two TV channels operated by Orange TV, in Orange County, Florida. The information channel televises programming about government services, activities and issues for residents of the county.
The HD-ready facility sports a new studio and MCR with two complete playout channels; one for Orange TV, a typical government channel, and one for Vision TV, which airs arts and education programming. These channels are supported by four PlayBox servers complete with AirBox playout, ListBox scheduling, TitleBox graphics and DataBox content management. The servers also provide full 1+1 redundancy for each of the two channels. There is also a CaptureBox for ingest and SafeBox for content management.
