Mediator Library allows operators to use desktop browsing to improve library operations.

Pharos will debut its new library management application at the Video Forum & Broadcast Live 2008 in London. The new multiclient module for Pharos Mediator directly integrates library operations with the media management workflow. Higher volumes of physical media, in multiple locations, can now be managed within the Mediator system.

Pharos Library Management tracks physical assets such as tape, disc and solid-state media throughout their lifecycle, using the Mediator database and barcodes. The system is suitable for any organization that needs to manage physical media securely and efficiently, including broadcasters, transmission service providers and post-production facilities.
