Portaprompt’s new camera plate allows a Quantum prompter to be fitted to smaller cameras.

Portaprompt is showcasing at IBC2007 its new Quantum Digi Plate, which allows small cameras like the Sony PD170, Z1 and Panasonic convertible cameras to be rigged with Portaprompt Quasar and Premium prompters.

The Quantum Plate comprises a display, hood, hood stay anchor, camera mount and a telescoping counter-balance weight in one package. With its narrow footprint, the Quantum Plate is ideal for rigging on lightweight and standard tripods and with many sizes of robotic heads and robotic post heads.
