Graphics and data provider wTVision has been chosen to develop all on-air graphics presented by the Portuguese channel TVI for the programs “Operação Portugal” and “Diário do Euro.” Both programs will accompany the Portuguese team during the Euro 2008 football championship, taking place in Austria and Switzerland June 7-29.
“Operação Portugal” will report live from Genève and Neuchatel, cities where the team will be training. During the tournament, “Diário do Euro” will give a daily 20-minute overview of the day’s games, interviews and special reports.
WTVision will be providing all the competition data through a dynamic virtual set that will also serve as a live video 3-D switchboard for reporters on location. Furthermore, the full set of on-air graphics requirements for the program will be provided, including lower-thirds and credits.
