Pro-Bel’s MCM provides control, monitoring of broadcast infrastructure

Pro-Bel has enhanced its universal command and control system, Morpheus Control and Monitoring (MCM), which is now being installed at several key client sites including ITN and Red Bee Media.
The new MCM Event Manager is a rules engine that allows users to define how their system will react to and manage complex combinations of events. For example, a situation that triggers an urgent alarm at prime time might be given a downgraded urgency level in the middle of the night, with a preplanned workaround being automatically implemented and e-mail or SMS notifications dispatched.
Also new, the System Architecture and Configuration Tool provides an interactive graphical view of the entire infrastructure that users can control with a click-and-drop interface.
