The ParkerVision CameraMan Robotic Camera at WAWS in Jacksonville, FL, now has a direct interface with Ross Synergy digital production switchers and the OverDrive Integrated Production Control System.

The recent release of version 6.1 software for the Synergy MD/X family of switchers now offers support for the ParkerVision CameraMan. This allows Ross Video to integrate existing ParkerVision Camera installations into the new multidefinition control rooms of WAWS. Ross Video clients will be able to get one step closer to HD news productions by allowing them to leverage existing SD installations until they move to an HD camera.
