Screen Subtitling Systems has selected Harmonic’s Rhozet Carbon Coder video transcoding solution for use in its Poliscript MediaTrans subtitling system. The integration of Carbon Coder into the MediaTrans subtitling system will accelerate the post-production workflow by allowing users to bypass the nonlinear editor (NLE) and transcode content directly with subtitles.

MediaTrans with Carbon Coder supports burnt-in subtitles and Line 21 closed captioning directly into media files, as well as transcoding, watermarking, logo insertion or video scaling.
