Software Generation (SGL) will introduce FlashBox and FlashTurbo Accelerator for Avid ISIS to the Middle Eastern broadcast market at CABSAT 2008. Making its world debut at the show is FlashBox, SGL’s new all-in-one archive solution, which starts with a 4TB disk archive, a single LTO-4 tape drive and 10 x 800GB tape slots, providing 12TB of entry-level storage. Based on SGL’s FlashNet content storage and archive management software, FlashBox will interface to all current control systems including Avid Interplay and Pro-Bel Morpheus.
FlashTurbo Accelerator for Avid ISIS provides a significant increase in data transfer rates and allows direct connection with Avid’s ISIS media network.
