Chyron has announced that Greek terrestrial TV network Skai TV has purchased a number of Chyron systems to play an integral role in its Athens facility. The order includes a dual-channel HyperX with Lyric PRO software, an XClyps clip server and CAMIO, Chyron’s MOS graphics management solution for newsrooms.

Forming the heart of Skai TV’s graphics output, the HyperX with Lyric PRO software provides real-time 2-D and 3-D graphics for live news bulletins and a variety of other applications, including promos and live updates.

The XClyps system features real-time clip playback in dual-channel video and key, and provides up to 50 hours of video storage. It is being used for news bumpers, station promos and monitoring background playback.
