Sony chooses ABS as UK playout center for SET-Asia

Sony Entertainment Television Asia has chosen Advanced Broadcast Services (ABS) as the UK-based playout hub for its SET-Asia channel.
SET-Asia comprises a series of international feeds produced at Sony's playout facility in Singapore. The feed is delivered via satellite to the West London ABS transmission center, were it is segmented and checked for statutory editorial compliance. ABS also creates promotional interstitials, inserts local commercials and news and rebuilds the channel for the various DTH and cable platforms in the UK and rest of Europe.
