India's Sun TV Network has installed a range of Harris interoperable broadcast solutions, including Panacea small routers, the NEO SuiteView multisource display processor, Videotek test and measurement solutions and the X75 all-in-one processor. The equipment is being used in Sun TV’s broadcast of its Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada regional language channels and a direct-to-home (DTH) service.

Bucking the trend, all the channels use manual playout, so ease of use was a key factor in the network’s purchasing decision. Sun TV is India's second-largest TV network and offers a wide variety of television channels — including regional news, entertainment and children's programming — in four languages covering the whole of southern India.
