SysMedia will launch the latest version of its InFILE subtitle embedding software at IBC2008. This will now add full broadcast-quality open-caption subtitles in any language to a digital media file as part of a software-only, file-based workflow. This functionality will be demonstrated for the first time at the show.
This new open-caption capability extends InFILE’s functionality to cover traditional burnt-in translation subtitles as well as popular closed-captioning formats.
The company will also showcase Gold, a multiplatform production and management system that enables fast and easy republishing. It opens up the publishing of topical information such as sports news and finance, coupled with advertising and SMS response, generating additional revenue and brand awareness.
