Middle Eastern TV content provider, Tanweer Group, has installed Digital Rapids StreamZ in its main studio in Dubai to encode in multiple formats and deliver content to offices in Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon.

Tanweer encodes WM9 for broadcasters to review. Broadcast content is encoded as 15Mb/s MPEG-2, and 50Mb/s MPEG-2 is used to deliver material to Tanweer’s post-production facilities for further work and video archiving. Real Media encoding also captures video with time code for translation and voice-over purposes.
