Turner Broadcasting Systems has upgraded its operator training facility by installing eight Miranda NV5100MC master control switcher systems. The training facility is located in the Broadcast Operating Center at the Company’s midtown Atlanta campus.
The Atlanta facility provides offline and on-air training for new operators, using the latest HD equipment, and it also serves as a backup master control facility. The facility provides three offline training positions and two on-air control positions with redundant A and B chains.
