TV Badalona goes to air with Dalet News Suite For VectorBox

Spanish public broadcaster TV Badalona has implemented the brand new Dalet News Suite for VectorBox solution to facilitate news production and playout of its daily news programs. TV Badalona staff will use the integrated ingest, newsroom computer system, desktop editing and playout management via the VectorBox video server.
The TV Badalona workflow starts with ingest management via Dalet for both wire service and IEEE 1394 recordings. Journalists have access from their desktops to integrated text and video, including that from Dalet MediaCutter and NewsWire. For craft editing, the system is integrated with Final Cut Pro. Stories can be picked up by Final Cut Pro editors for finishing then submitted to the run-down for playout management via the Dalet OnAir tool.
