Software Generation (SGL) has provided a FlashNet archive to the University of Nevada-Las Vegas (UNLV). The university’s Hank Greenspun School of Journalism and Media Studies facility houses a state-of-the-art production and media broadcast center, UNLV TV, now in its 16th year, which showcases UNLV faculty, programs and events.

The SGL archive is used under the control of an Avid Interplay system. UNLV’s media editors and managers can archive and restore projects between its online Avid ISIS storage array and nearline network attached storage from within the Media Composer and Interplay systems.
